Ben Arthur's sixth album, "If You Look for My Heart" shows the clear marks of an experienced hand. A concept album connected to a novel of the same name, the two pieces are densely interrelated yet stand as independent works.
Inspired by the music o-literary works of John Wesley Harding, Joe Pernice, and Steve Earle, Ben worked on the project for four years, collaborating with critical favorites Aesop Rock and Rachael Yamagata.
Ben has released five previous albums and one novel. He has been featured on the internationally syndicated radio program "Acoustic Café" twice, and has shared the stage with Dave Matthews, Tori Amos, Bruce Hornsby, Shawn Colvin, Toots & The Maytals, and Sophie B. Hawkins. Ben's music has aired on ABC, CBS, Showtime, and PBS, as well as Sirius XM Radio, where three half-hour specials have been devoted to his works. The new album has already been licensed by Play Netword, and is spinning in Starbucks nationwide.
